A psalm, a song for the sons of Korah. Its foundation is in the mountains of holiness. 1 A psalm, a song for the sons of Korah. His foundation is in the mountains of holiness. The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. 2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the tabernacles of Jacob. Selah. 3 Glorious things are spoken of you, City of God. Selah. "Rahab and Babylon—behold, Philistia and Tyre with Cush—'This one was born there.'" 4 I will mention Rahab and Babylon to those who know me; behold Philistia and Tyre with Cush! "This one was born there." And of Zion one will say, man by man, "Born in her," and He, the Most High, will establish it. 5 And of Zion it will be said, "Man by man was born in her," and He, the Most High, will establish her. 6 The LORD will recount, in the written record of all the peoples: "This one was fathered there." Selah.
